These "K98 Style" bayonets (bayonets produced without the need of rings) were being stamped Along with the 3 letter code of DOT and however retained the exceptional Czech "inverted blade" of the originals.  The Czech bayonets will healthy both the VZ24 and K98 Mausers without any alteration, with or with no muzzle rings.
